New Beginnings!

so it's been a while since my last post, and that's because i haven't really done any sewing.  mainly because i was on vacations and then, something new and exciting, i started school!!  since i've started sewing in september i've taken an interest in wanting to be able to make my own patterns and fit clothes for others.  so, i enrolled into O'More College of Design in Franklin, TN!  let me tell you, this campus is beautiful, the people are friendly, and it's small...and when i say small i mean no more than 250 students total!

this week is the first week i've been to all my classes, and i may be a little biased but, clothing construction 1 i think is going to be my favorite class :)  we will have 3 major projects for that class in which we will have to make 3 garments.  those garments are: a skirt, pants, and a jacket.  easy enough, i'd say!  i can't wait to really get started in the class and begin making things.

so hopefully i can get some sewing in during the times i'm not swamped with homework and projects.  until next time good readers!
